Session Title: Why startup scenes and media scenes need each other

Former CNN producer Josh Rubin spent more than a decade covering everything from presidential elections to breaking news. He moved to Austin in 2010 and quickly fell in love with the city's startup scene. He recently left CNN to join the Daily Dot, an Austin based media company. Now Josh is trying to combine his love of startup culture with his love of media by partnering with Capital Factory to create a place where media can learn about innovation and startups can learn about media.
